Cherry Hill Man Convicted For The 2020 Murder Of Ex-Wife

76-YEAR-OLD CHERRY HILL MAN WAS FOUND GUILTY FOR THE 2020 STABBING DEATH OF HIS EX-WIFE

     "Philip Puche Was Found Guilty On Wednesday For The Robbery & Murder Of Nancy Kenny Inside Her Haddon Township Residence."

HADDON TOWNSHIP, NJ.- Following a Three-Week Trial, on Wednesday, April 3, 2024, a Jury sitting in Camden County, New Jersey Found a 76-Year-Old Cherry Hill, New Jersey man Guilty of Charges in connection with The July 19, 2020, Robbery and Stabbing Death of Ex-Wife in The Audubon Park Section of Haddon Township, New Jersey.



     According to Camden County Prosecutor Grace C. MacAulay, Philip Puche, 76, of Cherry Hill was Found Guilty on The Charges of First Degree Murder; First Degree Robbery; Second Degree Burglary; and Third Degree Possession of a Weapon for an Unlawful Purpose. Sentencing in The Matter has been Scheduled for May 17, 2024, in Camden County Superior Court at which time Puche will Face Life in New Jersey State Prison.


     The Conviction stems from an Incident that occurred, when on July 19, 2020, Members of The Haddon Township Police Department responded to the area of Road C in The Audubon Park Section of The Township after receiving a report of a woman being Attacked with a Knife.


     Upon arrival, Police Officers located a Female Victim, later identified as Nancy Kenny, 62, suffering from Multiple Stab Wounds to her Neck and Head. Ms. Kenny was immediately transported to Cooper University Hospital where she underwent extensive emergency surgery. Eight Months later, on March 15, 2021, Ms. Kenny tragically succumbed to the injuries she sustained in The Attack and was pronounced deceased.


     A subsequent autopsy performed by The Regional Medical Examiner's Office determined The Cause of Death to be from complications of Multiple Stab Wounds to her Neck and Head and The Manner of Death to be Homicide.
