HARRISON, NJ.- A 18-Year-Old Kearny, New Jersey man is Jailed after being Charged with The July 11, 2023, Sexual Assault of a 13-Year-Old Girl in The Backyard of a Harrison, New Jersey Residence.
According to Hudson County Prosecutor Esther Suarez, on Wednesday, March 13, 2024, Members of The Hudson County Prosecutor's Office Special Victims Unit Arrested Angel Aparicio De La Cruz and Formally Charged him with Second Degree Sexual Assault; Third Degree Endangering the Welfare of a Child; and Fourth Degree Criminal Sexual Contact.
De La Cruz was Processed on The Charges and was Remanded to The Hudson County Correctional Facility pending Future Court Proceedings in Hudson County Superior Court.
The Charges stem from an investigation that determined that De La Cruz Sexually Assaulted a 13-Year-Old Girl in The Backyard of a Kearny, New Jersey Residence, following meeting The Child on a Social Media Platform.
"The Rules Of The Court Requires Us To Include A Statement, That States: The Charges Outlined In This Publication Are Merely Accusations And The Defendant And Or Defendants Are Presumed Innocent Unless And Until Proven Guilty Beyond Reasonable Doubt."
