MIDDLESEX COUNTY AUTHORITIES CONTINUE TO INVESTIGATE A SHOOTING THAT HAS KILLED THREE

SOUTH PLAINFIELD, NJ.- Middlesex County Authorities are continuing their investigation into the circumstances surrounding a Shooting that occurred this morning at a South Plainfield, New Jersey Residence that tragically Claimed the Lives of Two Men and a Woman.
According to Middlesex County Prosecutor Yolanda Ciccone, Today, November 27, 2023, at approximately 9:00 a.m., Members of The South Plainfield Police Department responded to a 911 Emergency Call reporting Shots Fired at a Coppola Drive South Plainfield Residence.
Upon arrival, Police Officers discovered Three Victims, Two Men and a Woman, all Three who had Sustained Gunshot Wounds. One of the men and the woman had succumbed to their injuries and were pronounced deceased at the scene. The second man who sustained Multiple Gunshot Wounds was immediately transported to a nearby hospital, where despite Life-Saving Efforts the man was pronounced deceased a short time later.
An investigation by Detective Thomas Rutter of The South Plainfield Police Department and Detective Javier Morillo of The Middlesex County Prosecutor's Office determined that the Shooting was not a Random Act, and there is No Threat to The Public at this time. The Names and Ages of the Victims are not being released at this time pending notification of next of kin.
