MAYS LANDING, NJ.- On Thursday, November 9, 2023, Atlantic County Prosecutor William E. Reynolds reported, that following an investigation, a 73-Year-Old Somers Point, New Jersey man was Arrested and Charged for Possession and Distribution of Child Pornography.
An investigation was initiated after The Atlantic County Prosecutor's Office Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force received a tip of Inappropriate Content being Distributed over Various Email and Social Media Platforms. Detectives were able to identify Roger Tees, 73, of Somers Point, New Jersey, as the individual who was Distributing the Digital Videos and Images of Child Exploitation on the Platforms.
Accordingly, Mr. Tees was Taken into Custody and Formally Charged with Second Degree Distribution of Child Pornography; and Third Degree Possession of Child Pornography. Tees was Processed on The Charges and Remanded to The Atlantic County Justice Facility pending Future Court Proceedings.
