     " Passaic County Authorities Continue The Investigation Into The Circumstances Surrounding A Shooting In Paterson, New Jersey."

PATERSON, NJ.- Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes reported that Detectives are actively investigating a Thursday Night Shooting in Paterson, New Jersey that left a Jersey City Man Hospitalized.

     On Thursday, July 6, 2023, at approximately 11:20 p.m., Members of The Paterson Police Department responded to the area of Belmont Avenue and North 10th Street in Paterson on Multiple Reports of Shots being Fired. 

     Upon arrival, Police Officers found evidence of a Crime Scene and a 42-Year-Old Jersey City, New Jersey man suffering from a Non-Life Threatening Gunshot Wound. The Man was immediately transported to Saint Joseph's University Medical Center for treatment.

     The investigation remains active and ongoing. No Arrests have been made.
