Cocaine Seized In Investigation

HUDSON COUNTY NARCOTICS INVESTIGATION YIELDS 2 KILOGRAMS OF COCAINE

     " Following An Investigation Jose Estrada-Castillo Was Charged With Multiple Narcotics Offenses."

HARRISON, NJ.- Hudson County Prosecutor Esther Suarez reported that following a Week-Long Narcotics Investigation. On Wednesday, May 10, 2023, Members of The Hudson County Prosecutor's Office Narcotics Task Force in conjunction with The United States Department of Homeland Security, Newark Office Arrested a 60-Year-Old Harrison, New Jersey man.


     Jose Estrada-Castillo, 60, of Harrison, New Jersey was Charged with One Count of First Degree Possession with the Intent to Distribute a Controlled Dangerous Substance; Second Degree Possession with the Intent to Distribute a Controlled Dangerous Substance within 500 Feet of Public Property; First Degree Conspiracy; Third Degree Possession with the Intent to Distribute a Controlled Dangerous Substance within 1000 Feet of School Property; and Third Degree Possession of Cocaine. 


     Mr. Estrada-Castillo was Arrested in the area of Harrison Avenue and Third Street in Harrison, and transported to The Hudson County Correctional Facility pending future Court Proceedings.


     During the course of The Investigation, Detectives seized over 2 Kilograms of Cocaine, and Mr. Estrada-Castillo was in Possession of 200 Grams of Cocaine at the time of his Arrest.
