MERCER COUNTY AUTHORITIES CONTINUE TO INVESTIGATE SUNDAY NIGHT'S FATAL SHOOTING

     " Mercer County Homicide Detectives Are Continuing Their Investigation Into The Circumstance Surrounding The Fatal Shooting Of A Man Found In His Car."

TRENTON, NJ.- Mercer County Prosecutor Angelo J. Onofri reported that The Mercer County Homicide Task Force and The Trenton Police Department are continuing to investigate last night's Shooting that claimed the Life of a 23-Year-Old Trenton, New Jersey man.

     On Sunday, April 10, 2023, at approximately 6:56 p.m., Members of The Trenton Police Department responded to a Multiple ShotSpotter Activation in the area of Lamberton and Federal Streets in Trenton.

     Upon arrival, Police Officers a man, later identified as Jhosse Tolentino, 23, of Trenton, New Jersey, inside his Parked Car suffering from Multiple Gunshot Wounds. Mr. Tolentino was immediately transported to Capital Health Regional Medical Center in Trenton where he succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased a short time later.

     No Arrests have been made at this time. The investigation remains active and ongoing.
