FOURTH SUSPECT ARRESTED IN EASTER SUNDAY TRENTON HOMICIDE

TRENTON, NJ.- Mercer County Prosecutor Angelo J. Onofri reported that on Thursday, April 20, 2023, a 22-Year-Old Ewing, New Jersey man has been Arrested and Charged in connection to The Easter Sunday Fatal Shooting on Federal Street in Trenton, New Jersey. The man is the Fourth Suspect Arrested in the Shooting Death of Jhosse Tolentino.
Bayshawn Brown, 22, of Ewing, New Jersey, was Taken into Custody last Thursday in Florence Township, New Jersey. Mr. Brown has been Formally Charged along with Joseph Fayson, Justin Malkin, and Darrin Eutsey, with First Degree Murder; Second Degree Possession of a Weapon for an Unlawful Purpose; Second Degree Unlawful Possession of a Weapon; and Third Degree Receiving Stolen Property. The Mercer County Prosecutor's Office has Filed a Pretrial Detention Motions to have all Four Detained pending Trial.
As previously reported, on Easter Sunday, April 9, 2023, at approximately 6:56 p.m., Members of The Trenton Police Department responded to a Multi-ShotSpotter Activation in the area of Lamberton and Federal Streets in Trenton. Upon arrival, Police Officers found a man, later identified as Jhosse Tolentino, 23, of Trenton, Unresponsive in the Driver's Seat of his car from Multiple Gunshot Wounds. Mr. Tolention was immediately transported to Capital Health Regional Medical Center, where he was pronounced deceased.
Mr. Brown was the Fourth Person seen on Video Surveillance exiting the Toyota 4Runner and approaching Mr. Tolentino's Vehicle with a Firearm in hand. All Four Shot at the vehicle then returned to the 4Runner and Fled the scene.
