EIGHT PEOPLE ARE INJURED AS GUNFIRE ERUPTS OVERNIGHT IN PATERSON, NEW JERSEY
Passaic County Authorities Are Investigating 2 Shootings That Has Left 8 People Hospitalized From Gunshot Wounds."

PATERSON, NJ.- The Passaic County Prosecutor's Office and The Paterson Police Department are continuing to investigate the circumstance surrounding Two Shootings that occurred late Friday Night and Early Saturday Morning that left Eight People Hospitalized from Gunshot Wounds.
According to Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes, on Friday, April14, 2023, at approximately 9:00 p.m., Members of The Paterson Police Department responded to the area of East 18th and Fair Streets in Paterson on a report of Shots Fired. Upon arrival, Police Officers found a 19-Year-Old Paterson, New Jersey man, and a 13-Year-Old Paterson Teen, both having sustained Non-Life Threatening Gunshot Wounds.
Both the man and the teen were immediately transported to Saint Joseph's University Medical Center for treatment.
Again, on Saturday, April 15, 2023, at approximately 12:50 a.m., Members of The Paterson Police Department responded to the area of East 22nd Street and 10th Avenue in Paterson on a report of a Shooting. Upon arrival, Police Officers located a Crime Scene and located a 26-Year-Old Paterson, New Jersey man, and a 35-Year-Old Paterson, New Jersey man suffering from Non-Life Threatening Gunshot Wounds. Both men were en route to the hospital when Police Officers found them. The men were immediately transported to Saint Joseph's University Medical Center for treatment.
Within minutes and less than a block away, Members of The Paterson Police Department responded to the area of Madison and 10th Avenues on another report of Shots Fired. Upon arrival, Police Officers located a Crime Scene but were unable to locate any victims. A short time later Police Officers were notified that Four People, a 37-Year-Old woman, a 33-Year-Old woman, a 31-Year-Old woman, and a 36-Year-Old man, all from Paterson, New Jersey had arrived at Saint Joseph's University Medical Center seeking treatment for Non-Life Threatening Gunshot Wounds.
The investigation into the Shootings remains active and ongoing and no arrests have been made.
