LONG BRANCH MAN SENTENCED TO STATE PRISON AND FORFEITS $110,000 In CASH

FREEHOLD, NJ.- Monmouth County Prosecutor Raymond S. Santiago reported that a Long Branch, New Jersey man was Sentenced on Friday, March 10, 2023, to Ten Years in New Jersey State Prison in connection with a 2021 Narcotics Investigation.
On Friday, March 10, 2023, Johnny Rodriguez, 51, of Long Branch, New Jersey appeared before The Honorable Marc Lemieux, J.S.C., at which time Mr. Rodriguez was Sentenced Ten Years in Prison on a First Degree Possession of Cocaine with the Intent to Distribute Cocaine in Excess of 5 Ounces. Mr. Rodriguez had previously entered a Guilty Plea on July 11, 2022.
Following a Three Month Investigation in 2021, By The Monmouth County Narcotics and Criminal Enterprise Unit and The Long Branch Police Department Executed Court Authorized Search Warrants at Mr. Rodriguez's Long Branch Residence and his Mechanic's Shop in Lanoka Harbor, New Jersey.
During the Execution of the Search Warrants, Detectives Seized 650 Grams of Cocaine, approximately $19,000 in Cash, Three Cell Phones and a 2003 Lexus Vehicle. Detectives also Seized a Bank Account with approximately $91,000 in Account Funds.
