CAMDEN MAN CHARGED WITH THE SATURDAY NIGHT FATAL STABBING OF A CAMDEN MAN

CAMDEN, NJ.- On Sunday, December 4, 2022, Camden County Prosecutor Grace C. MacAulay and Camden County Police Chief Gabriel Rodriguez announced that a 35-Year-Old Camden City man has been Arrested and Charged for the Fatal Stabbing of a man that occurred Saturday night in Camden, New Jersey.
On Saturday, December 3, 2022, at approximately 10:57 p.m., Members of The Camden County Metro Police responded to a 911 Emergency Call in The 200 Block of Main Street on a report of a Stabbing.
Upon arrival, Police Officers found a man, later identified as Duron Williams, 35, of Camden, New Jersey suffering from a life threatening Stab Wound. Mr. Williams was immediately transported to Cooper University Medical Center where he succumbed to his injury and was subsequently pronounced deceased a short time later.
Following an investigation by Detectives of The Camden County Prosecutor's Office and Detectives of The Camden County Police Department were able to identify Eduardo Villanueva-Garcia, 35, of Camden, New Jersey as the suspect in the Stabbing, and the individual responsible for the Death of Mr. Williams.
Mr. Villanueva-Garcia was Arrested and Charged on Sunday morning with One Count of First Degree Murder; Third Degree Possession of a Weapon for an Unlawful Purpose; and Fourth Degree Unlawful Possession of a Weapon. After being Processed on the Charges Mr. Villanueva-Garcia was transported and lodged in The Camden County Correctional Facility pending his First Appearance and Detention Hearing in Camden County State Superior Court.
