PASSAIC COUNTY AUTHORITIES ARE ACTIVELY INVESTIGATING THE DEATHS OF A MAN AND A WOMAN

PATERSON, NJ.- On Friday, August 19, 2022, Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes and Paterson Police Chief Ibrahim Baycora announced that on Friday, August 19, 2022, at approximately 11:40 a.m., Members of The Paterson Police Department and The Passaic County Prosecutor’s Office responded to the area of Elizabeth Street and Getty Avenue in Paterson, New Jersey where Police Officers discovered two deceased individuals, a man and a woman, inside a vehicle with apparent Gunshot Wounds.

     The investigation is active and ongoing. The Shooting appears to be an apparent Murder Suicide, more information may become available once released by authorities.
