PATERSON, NJ.- On Sunday, June 5, 2022, Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes and Paterson Police Chief Ibrahim Baycora announced on June 5, 2022, at approximately, 4:32 a.m., Members of The Paterson Police Department were notified that a 42-Year-Old Paterson woman had arrived at Saint Joseph’s University Medical Center in Paterson, New Jersey for treatment of multiple non-life threatening Gunshot Wounds.
Based on the initial investigation, the woman was in the area of Summer and Montgomery Streets in Paterson, New Jersey when she was shot. A potential crime scene was located in that area.
No Arrests have been made and the investigation remains active and ongoing. More information may become available once released by authorities.
