A LATE SATURDAY NIGHT PATERSON SHOOTING LEAVES TWO HOSPITALIZED

PATERSON, NJ.- On Sunday, June 12, 2022, Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes and Paterson Police Chief Ibrahim Baycora announced that on June 11, 2022, at approximately 11:30 p.m., Members of The Paterson Police Department responded to the area of East 26 th Street and 7 th Avenue in Paterson, New Jersey on a report of Shots Fired.
Upon arrival, Police Officers located a potential crime scene, and a 23-Year-Old Paterson man, and a 24-Year-Old Garfield man who each sustained non-life threatening Gunshot Wounds. The victims were immediately transported to Saint Joseph’s University Medical Center in Paterson, New Jersey for treatment.
Based on the preliminary investigation, the victims were in the area of East 26th Street and 7th Avenue when they struck by Gunfire.
No Arrests have been made. The investigation remains active and ongoing. More information may become available once released by authorities.
