BERGEN COUNTY AUTHORITIES CONTINUING THEIR INVESTIGATION OF A MAN FOUND DEAD ON ROADWAY

     " Police Are Investigating The Saturday Morning Death Of Man Found Dead On The Shoulder Of Route 4 West In Englewood, New Jersey."

ENGLEWOOD, NJ.- On Saturday, June 18, 2022, Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella announced that Detectives are continuing to investigate the Death of a man who was found deceased Saturday, June 18, 2022.

     On Saturday, June 18, 2022, at approximately 7:00 a.m., Members of The Bergen County Sheriff's Office responded to a report of an unconscious man lying in the shoulder of Route 4 West near South Dean Street in Englewood, New Jersey.

     Upon arrival, Police Officers located a man deceased and had sustained injuries consistent with having been struck by a vehicle. The identity of the man has not been released by authorities.

     The investigation remains active and ongoing and is being conducted by The Bergen County Prosecutor's Office Fatal Accident Unit under the direction of Chief Jason Love in conjunction with The Bergen County Sheriff's Office under the Direction of Sheriff Anthony Cureton.
