FREEHOLD, NJ.- On Monday, February 28, 2022 Acting Monmouth County Prosecutor Lori Linskey announced that a Grand Jury sitting in Monmouth County, New Jersey has Returned an Indictment against a former manager of a Hazlet, New Jersey Automotive Repair Business, accused of Stealing approximately $90,000. from his employer during the course of Fifteen Months.
The Grand Jury Indicted Joshua Chisenhall, 39, on Charges of Second Degree Theft by Deception and Second Degree Computer Theft.
An investigation by Members of The Hazlet Police Department and The Monmouth County Prosecutor's Office Financial Crimes Bureau determined that while Mr. Chisenhall was employed at The AAMCO Service Station located on Route 36 South in Hazlet, New Jersey, Mr. Chisenhall would repeatedly Pocket Cash Payments for Services rendered, then would Falsify Invoices that would indicate that the customers had instead made Credit Card Payments.
The Scheme allegedly resulted in Tens of Thousands of Dollars being Stolen from January 2020 through March 2021.
Mr. Chisenhall was Originally Arrested and Criminally Charged in October of 2021.
