Former Dover Man Sentenced To Prison

FORMER DOVER NEW JERSEY MAN SENTENCED TO PRISON FOR FORCING WOMEN INTO PROSTITUTION 

     " Jeremiah Forde Has Been Sentenced To 28 Years In Prison For His Role In Forcing Women Into Prostitution For Financial Gain."

MORRISTOWN, NJ.- A Former Dover, New Jersey man, who admitted that he used Drugs and Threats of Violence to force multiple women into Prostitution has been Sentenced to New Jersey Prison.


     On Tuesday, February 22, 2022, Morris County Prosecutor Robert J. Carroll, Chief of Detectives Christoph Kimker, Morris County Sheriff James Gannon, Roxbury Police Department Chief Dean Adone, Hanover Police Department Chief Michael Loock, and Parsippany Troy Hills Police Chief Richard Pantina announced that Jeremiah Forde, 41, formerly of Dover, New Jersey, has been Sentenced to Twenty Eight Years in Prison for his role in a Prostitution Scene.


     On July 15, 2021, a Morris County Jury returned a verdict finding Mr. Forde Guilty of Multiple Offenses including Aggravated Sexual Assault, Sexual Assault, Aggravated Criminal Sexual Contact, Criminal Sexual Contact, and Invasion of Privacy. These incidents occurred during September of 2018 in the town of Parsippany Troy Hills. The victim in the case was an adult female.


     On November 16, 2021, Mr. Forde admitted and Pled Guilty to additional crimes that he and an accomplice Promoted The Prostitution of two Adult Women, one in Roxbury, New Jersey and the other in Hanover, New Jersey. Mr. Forde admitted to providing the two women with Controlled Dangerous Substances and forcing them to Engage in Sexual Acts in exchange for money at various hotels. Also on this date, Mr. Forde pled guilty to Aggravated Assault on an adult male in Hanover, New Jersey. These incidents all occurred between August 2018 and November 2018.


     On Friday, February 18, 2022, The Honorable Robert Hanna imposed the Sentence of Twenty Eight Years in New Jersey State Prison, of which the first Nineteen Years of the sentence are subject to The No Early Release Act, which will require Mr. Forde to serve to Eighty Five Percent of the Sentence before Parole Eligibility.  Forde upon release will be Required to Register as a Sex Offender pursuant to Megan’s Law and will also be on Parole Supervision for Life.
