CUMBERLAND COUNTY AUTHORITIES CHARGE A 19 YEAR OLD VINELAND MAN IN CONNECTION TO THE THURSDAY NIGHT TARGETED SHOOTING DEATH

VINELAND, NJ.- On Tuesday, January 18, 2022 Cumberland County Jennifer Webb-McRae announced a 19-Year-Old Vineland, New Jersey man has been Charged in connection to the Fatal Shooting of Luis Rivera, 23, of Vineland, New Jersey that occurred on Sunday, January 17, 2022 at The Delesa Drive WaWa in Vineland, New Jersey.
In the late evening hours of Thursday, January 13, 2022, Members of The Vineland Police Department responded to The WaWa located at Park Avenue and Delesa Drive on a report of Shots Fired. Upon arrival, Police Officers located a male victim, later identified as Luis Rivera, 23, of Vineland deceased from Gunshot Wounds.
The ensuing investigation has led to Shaqwil Marlow,19, of Vineland being Charged with First Degree Murder; Second Degree Possession of a Weapon for an Unlawful Purpose; and Second Degree Unlawful Possession of a Weapon.
Mr. Marlow remains at Large at this time. Cumberland County Authorities are actively seeking Marlow's whereabouts. Mr. Marlow should be considered Armed and Dangerous and if seen you should notify Police.
The investigation remains active and ongoing.
