Paterson New Jersey Shooting

30 YEAR OLD PATERSON NEW JERSEY MAN WAS SHOT MULTIPLE TIMES ON TUESDAY JANUARY 4 2022

     " A Tuesday Afternoon Shooting In The Area Of Godwin Avenue & Carroll Street Has Left A Paterson Man Hospitalized With Multiple Gunshot Wounds."

PATERSON, NJ.- Today, Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes and Paterson Police Chief Ibrahim Baycora announced on January 4, 2022, at approximately 2:53 p.m., Members of The Paterson Police Department responded to the area of Godwin Avenue and Carroll Street in Paterson, New Jersey on a report of a shooting. 



     Upon arrival, Police Officers located a potential crime scene, and a 30-Year-Old Paterson man who had sustained multiple non-life threatening gunshot wounds. The man was immediately transported to Saint Joseph’s University Medical Center in Paterson, New Jersey for treatment for his wounds.


     Based on the initial investigation, the man was standing in the area of Godwin Avenue and Carroll Street in Paterson, New Jersey when several actors began shooting at him.


     The investigation remains active and ongoing. More information may become available once it is released by authorities.
