LITTLE FERRY MAN PREVIOUSLY CHARGED WITH THE SEXUAL ASSAULT OF A CHILD NOW CHARGED WITH FIRST DEGREE CHILD ENDANGERMENT

HACKENSACK, NJ.- On Thursday, December 23, 2021 Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella announced the Arrest of Roberto Carlos Mancia, 23, of Little Ferry, New Jersey on Charges related to the Production and Possession of Child Pornography. The arrest is the result of an investigation conducted by The Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office under the direction of Chief Jason Love.
Subsequent to a previous investigation originally initiated on Thursday, August 12, 2021 at which time, The New Jersey Division of Child Protection and Permanency contacted The Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office Special Victims Unit regarding the Alleged Sexual Assault of a Child, Detectives conclusively determined that Mr. Mancia also Endangered the Welfare of a Child by causing a Child to Engage in a Sexual Act while Recording it.
As a result of the investigation, on Thursday, December 23, 2021, Mr. Mancia was Arrested in Little Ferry, New Jersey, and Charged with First Degree Endangering the Welfare of a Child by Production of Child Pornography; and Third Degree Endangering the Welfare of a Child by Possessing Child Pornography. Mr. MANCIA was remanded to The Bergen County Jail pending his first appearance in Central Judicial Processing Court in Hackensack, New Jersey.
