A VINELAND NEW JERSEY MAN HAS BEEN CHARGED WITH SATURDAY'S SHOOTING DEATH OF A PENNS GROVE MAN IN MILLVILLE NEW JERSEY

MILLVILLE, NJ.- On Tuesday, October 26, 2021 Cumberland County Prosecutor Jennifer Webb-McRae announced that an investigation by The Millville Police Department In conjunction with The Cumberland County Prosecutor's Office Major Crimes Unit resulted in Charges being filed in the Saturday, October 23, 2021 Shooting Death of Patrick Trotter, 32, of Penns Grove, occurring in the 500 Block of West Main Street in Millville, New Jersey.
As a result of the investigation Charges were filed against Brandon Dennis, 29, of Vineland, New Jersey. Mr. Dennis has been Charged with First Degree Murder; Second Degree Possession of a Weapon for an Unlawful Purpose; Second Degree Unlawful Possession of a Weapon; Second Degree Certain Persons Not to Possess Weapons; Criminal Mischief; Burglary; Desecration; Terroristic Threats; Obstruction; and Hindering Apprehension.
At this time Mr. Dennis is not in custody and remains at large. Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Mr. Dennis is urged to contact Millville Police Detective Shipley at (856) 825-7010 or Cumberland County Prosecutor's Office Detective Martinez at (856) 453-0486.
