PARAMUS, NJ.- On Friday, October 29, 2021 Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella announced the Arrest of Mathew Testino, 51, of River Edge, New Jersey on Drug-Related Offenses. The arrest is the result of an investigation conducted by the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office under the direction of Chief Jason Love.
During March 2021, an investigation initiated by The Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office Narcotics Task Force uncovered that Mr. Testino, a Nurse Practitioner who operated Bergen Neurology and Pain Management located at 230 East Ridgewood Avenue, Paramus, New Jersey, and later at 480 Market Street, Suite 2, Saddle Brook, New Jersey was involved in Fraudulently Obtaining and Signing Prescriptions on approximately Thirty separate occasions for Substances including Oxycodone and Adderall. These prescriptions were subsequently filled, totaling several Thousand Fraudulently obtained Oxycodone and Adderall Pills.
On Wednesday, October 27, 2021, Mr. Testino turned himself into The Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office. Mr. Testino has been Charged with One Count of Second Degree Distribution of Oxycodone; Thirteen Counts of Third Degree Distribution of Adderall; Eleven Counts of Third Degree Distribution of Oxycodone; One Count of Third Degree Obtaining a Controlled Dangerous Substance by Fraud; and One Count of Third Degree Uttering a Forged Document.
Mr. Testino was processed on the Charges and remanded to The Bergen County Jail pending his first appearance in Central Judicial Processing Court in Hackensack, New Jersey.
