FREEHOLD, NJ.- On Friday, October 1, 2021 Acting Monmouth County Prosecutor Lori Linskey announced that a Grand Jury sitting in Monmouth County, New Jersey has returned an Indictment against a Keansburg, New Jersey man for being in Possession of more than 1000 Items depicting Child Sexual Abuse Material.
Jose G. Veras, 33, of Keansburg, New Jersey has been formally Indicted with One Count of Second Degree Endangering The Welfare Of A Child, by the way of The Possession of Child Sexual Abuse Material, for crimes that took place on various dates between July 2021 and February 2020.
An Investigation conducted by The Monmouth County Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force, which is comprised of Law Enforcement Personnel from Local Police Departments throughout Monmouth County, received a tip from The National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, uncovered that Mr. Veras utilized a Cloud Storage Application to store Child Sexual Abuse Material. The investigation further revealed that Mr. Veras had the Material saved on numerous electronic devices in his home.
