Friday Night Shooting In Cherry Hill New Jersey

A FRIDAY NIGHT SHOOTING OCCURRED NEAR CHERRY HILL HIGH SCHOOL DURING A FOOTBALL GAME

     " Police Are Actively Investigating A Shooting That Occurred In The Immediate Area Of A Friday Night Football Game At Cherry Hill West High School."

CHERRY HILL, NJ.- On Saturday, October 2, 2021 Acting Camden County Prosecutor Jill S. Mayer and Acting Cherry Hill Police Chief Larry Robb announced that Detectives are actively investigating a Shooting that occurred Friday night near Cherry Hill High School West's Football Game.



     On Friday, October 1, 2021, at approximately 8:47 p.m., Members of The Cherry Hill Police Department responded on a report of a Shooting in the residential area of Fulton and Weld Streets, which is the immediate area of the Football Complex. Cherry Hill West was playing Bridgeton High School at that time.


     Upon arrival, Police Officers and Detectives located Eight spent shell casings and a potential crime scene. There were no reported injuries, victims, or suspects reported at this time.


     The Camden County Prosecutor's Office Major Crimes Unit and The Cherry Hill Police Department are conducting the investigation surrounding the events of the Shooting.
