AN ATLANTIC CITY MAN SENTENCED TO PRISON FOR THE ONGOING SEXUAL ASSAULT OF A FIVE YEAR OLD GIRL

MAYS LANDING, NJ.- On Friday, October 1, 2021 Acting Atlantic County Prosecutor Cary Shill announced that a 36-Year-Old Atlantic City man was sentenced on Thursday, September 30, 2021 before Atlantic County Superior Court Judge Bernard DeLury for the ongoing Aggravated Sexual Assault of a Five-Year-Old, who was in his care.
Eliseo Jiminez Ramirez, 36, of Atlantic City, New Jersey was Sentenced on Thursday on One Count of First Degree Aggravated Sexual Assault before The Honorable Judge Delury to Ten Years in New Jersey State Prison, with a 85% Term of Service before parole eligibility, pursuant to The No Early Release Act. Judge DeLury denied the defense request to a reduced sentence of Eight Years. Upon completion of his custodial term, Mr. Jiminez Ramirez will be on Parole Supervision for Life and subject to Megan's Law Registration Requirements.
Mr. Jiminez Ramirez previously on July 6, 2021 had Pleaded Guilty to The Charge of First Degree Aggravated Sexual Assault, for which he was sentenced for on Thursday.
The Aggravated Sexual Assault Offenses occurred in 2015 and continued into 2016, where Mr. Jiminez Ramirez committed the Aggravated Sexual Assault against the victim, Jiminez Ramirez's Five Year-Old cousin in her home while she was in his care, through acts occurring on more than one occasion.
