PISCATAWAY, NJ.- On Friday, September 3, 2021 Middlesex County Prosecutor Yolanda Ciccone and Piscataway Township Police Chief Thomas Mosier announced that a Homicide that occurred yesterday is under active investigation.
On Thursday, September 2, 2021, at approximately 3:58 p.m., Members of The Piscataway Township Police Department responded to the area of Washington Avenue and West Fifth Street on a report of a Shooting.
Upon arrival, Police Officers located Alphonso Brown, 22, of North Brunswick, who had sustained multiple gunshot wounds. Mr. Brown was immediately transported to an area hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased.
