MILLBURN, NJ.- New Jersey Transit Police are continuing an investigation into the circumstances surrounding a man who was fatally struck by a New Jersey Transit Train this morning, Tuesday, September 7, 2021.
In statement released from New Jersey Transit Officials, on Tuesday, at approximately 5:09 a.m., a Train that had departed the Dover Station struck and killed a pedestrian, east of the Millburn Train Station.
At around 5:30 this morning, Transit Officials announced that rail service on The Morris Essex Line was suspended in both directions between the Dover and East Orange Train Stations.
Officials also reported, that rail service on The Gladstone Branch was also suspended in both directions due to the accident.
