VINELAND, NJ.- On Tuesday, August 3, 2021 Cumberland County Prosecutor Jennifer Webb-McRae announced that a Murder-Suicide that occurred on Monday afternoon has been determined to be that of a Domestic Violence Incident. The individuals referenced below have been identified only as a Husband and Wife.
Under New Jersey Court Rules, authorities are prohibited from releasing the identities of individuals or victims involved in an incident of Domestic Violence.
On Monday, August 2, 2021 The Cumberland County Prosecutor’s Office Major Crimes Unit and the Vineland Police Department investigated what appeared to be an apparent Murder-Suicide occurring in the area of the Quality Inn Hotel located on 29 W. Landis Ave., Vineland, NJ. Police were called to the Quality Inn at approximately 1:18 pm this afternoon. Upon arrival, they discovered a 41 year old female deceased from apparent gunshot wounds in a vehicle.
Later, they located a 44 year old male deceased from what appeared to be a self-inflicted gunshot wound along a wooden fence line.
