Jersey City Man Fatally Shot

HUDSON COUNTY AUTHORITIES INVESTIGATING WEDNESDAY EVENING FATAL SHOOTING OF A JERSEY CITY MAN

     " A 21-Year-Old Jersey City, New Jersey Man Was Fatally Shot In Ferris Triangle Park Located In Jersey City."

JERSEY CITY, NJ.- On Thursday, August 5, 2021 Hudson County Prosecutor Esther Suarez announced that The Hudson County Prosecutor’s Office Homicide Unit and The Jersey City Police Department are investigating the Death of a 21-year-old Jersey City man who was fatally shot Wednesday evening in Ferris Triangle Park near Rose and Cator Avenues and Old Bergen Road in Jersey City.



     On Wednesday, August 4, 2021, at approximately 8:22 p.m., Members of The Jersey City Police Department responded to a call of shots fired at Ferris Triangle Park. Upon arrival, Police Officers found a male gunshot victim, later identified as Alshaquir Duval, in front of 182 Cator Avenue. The victim was pronounced deceased at the scene at 8:32 p.m. The cause and manner of death are pending the findings of the Regional Medical Examiner’s Office.


     The Hudson County Prosecutor’s Office Homicide Unit and the Jersey City Police Department are actively investigating this case. No arrests have been made at this time.
