MERCER COUNTY AUTHORITIES ARE INVESTIGATING A HOMICIDE WHICH OCCURRED ON MONDAY AFTERNOON

TRENTON, NJ.- Mercer County Homicide Task Force, Mercer County Shooting Response Team and The Trenton Police Department are investigating are investigating a shooting that occurred at approximately 1:45 p.m. on Monday, July 19, 2021, in the Breuning Avenue Park in Trenton, New Jersey.
Members of The Trenton Police Department responded to the area of 14 Breuning Avenue on a report of a shooting. Upon arrival Police Officers located a victim suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
The victim an adult male was immediately transported to Capital Health Regional Medical Center, where he was pronounced deceased a short time later.
