WASHINGTON, DC.- Chinese Officials have called U.S. led accusations that the East Asian country was behind a host of cyber attacks around the world groundless and a malicious smear. In a statement, China's Canadian Embassy said, " China urges Canada to abandon its Cold War mentality and ideological prejudice, and stop unprovoked attacks and deliberate slander against China."
Officials have repeated accusations that The CIA has been hacking it's key industries for over a decade.
A joint group of The United States NATO, The European Union, The United Kingdom, Australia, Canada, New Zealand, and Japan accused China of working with cyber criminals to hack email systems. The Western Coalition called on China to "act responsible in the international system, including cyberspace," and said it will " actively deter, defend against and counter the full spectrum of cyber threats."
Biden Administration said the "Chinese attack was a pattern of irresponsible behavior in cyberspace," and President Biden said, " the investigation into China is not finished," including sanctions could be coming.
Amid the heightened tensions between Washington and Beijing, China called on The United States to lift trade restrictions on Cuba, and condemn the alleged outside foreign interference, which has led to the massive citizen protests against the ruling communist regime.
