MAYS LANDING, NJ.- On Wednesday, July 21, 2021 Acting Atlantic County Prosecutor Cary Shill announced that a Grand Jury sitting in Atlantic County, New Jersey, has returned an indictment against Robert Declementi, 37, of Brigantine, New Jersey on the Charge of First Degree Murder.
The indictment was returned on Wednesday, July 21, 2021, and signed by Acting Atlantic County Prosecutor Cary Shill.
On Saturday, August 22, 2020, Members of The Brigantine Police Department responded to 17 Girard Place in Brigantine, New Jersey. Upon arrival, Police Officers found Rachel Declementi, 30, deceased in the home having sustained multiple injuries to her body. Robert Declementi was arrested and charged with First Degree Murder.
The investigation was conducted by The Atlantic County Prosecutor's Office Major Crimes Unit in conjunction with The Brigantine Police Department.
