Paterson Man Dies From Injuries In Sunday Morning Shooting

PATERSON, NJ.- Today, Passaic County Authorities reported that a 62-year-old Paterson, New Jersey man who was shot multiple times mid-morning on Sunday has sadly succumbed from his injuries yesterday.


     According to Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes, on Sunday, May 5, 2024, just before 10:30 a.m., members of the Paterson Police Department responded to a 911 Emergency Call reporting a shooting in the area of Broadway and East 24th Street in the City of Paterson.



     Upon arrival, Police Officers found a man, later identified as Daryle Robinson, 62, of Paterson, New Jersey suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Mr. Robinson was immediately transported to Saint Joseph's University Medical Center where he was treated and remained hospitalized until Tuesday, May 7, 2024, when he tragically succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased.


     The investigation remains active and ongoing. No arrests have been made as Police continue their search for the suspect.
